A new joint Institute of Technologies of BSU-TNU has been created in cooperation of the Belarusian State University and Tajik National University. The corresponding agreement was signed on 29 October 2016. The document was signed by the rectors-academicians Sergey Ablameyko and Mahmadyusuf Imomzoda.
The BSU-TNU Institute of Technology will operate in Dushanbe.
The educational process will be organized following the "2 + 2" principle: during the first two years Tajik students will be studying at TNU in Dushanbe, and the next two years – at BSU in Minsk. Diploma theses defense will take place at the Belarusian State University.
The Institute consists of three faculties: Information Technology, Ecology Saving Technologies of TNU and IHEI named after Sakharov and the Faculty of Pre-University Education.
