The delegation of the Free State Government of the Free State of the Republic of South Africa visited the BSU.

The delegation included the head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Thuso Ramaema, the first secretary of the South African Embassy in Belarus Roberto Gomes and the director of the international relations department of the office of Prime Minister Moses Kau. The BSU was represented by Vice-rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalization of Education Sergei Khodin, Vice-Rector for Science Vasily Safonov, Head of the Main Department of Science Vitaly Kutavichyus and Deputy Head of the International Relations Department Roman Novikov. The visit to the university was held in order to discussing issues of international cooperation and identifying possible areas for joint activities. The foreign guests were interested in the branches, which are connected with biotechnology, ecology, green chemistry, agriculture. Particular attention was paid to the master's and postgraduate programs that are popular among the foreign citizens at the BSU. The parties will prepare detailed information on mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education and science. Let's note that this year the student from South Africa became a graduate of the physical faculty of the BSU. She got a diploma in nuclear physics sphere.
